Meeting the Neighbors

We had a house warming celebration last week to formally introduce ourselves to our new neighbors in Baawa. (Baawa is the small village in Samburu, Kenya where we live). We had a wonderful meal with potatoes, rice, goat and sheep. The community helped prepare the meal and after we ate, the women sang and danced. Attached are some photos of the celebration, a short video of Heidi dancing and singing with the mamas Samburu-style and a portion of the speech I gave in Samburu.

We thank God for placing us in such a wonderful community among a loving and welcoming tribe.
