We have news about the 2014 mission trip to Kenya.......
The dates for the trip have been scheduled and confirmed for July 21- Aug 8.
The team leader is Joe Peabody. This email serves to connect you with Joe (joepeabody@yahoo.com) if you are interested in serving on the team this year.
The team is "planning" to serve in our village in Baawa in the following ways, but things can always change; missions=be flexible. :)
-our church here in Baawa is currently worshipping under a tree. We would like to help them build a church structure.
-nick is in need of help assembling the water filtration systems for the village.
-the medical clinic is in need of supplies and help from medical/dental personal.
-prayer team and VBS for the children of the village.
***The initial Kenya 2014 mission team meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 23rd @ 3pm @ Salem UMC.***
We are honored to welcome you to Samburu and we are excited to have you serve within our village!
