Preacher Nick, Songs of Praise & Poor Water

Let us introduce you to the sweet village of Lolkuti that we visited this past Sunday. It's about 30km from Maralal and one of the potential sites for a clean water ministry. The Lolkuti people are simple and filled with the love of Christ!  Just watch the video and you will see their joy for the Lord.  Preacher Nick had a chance to share the Word with the congregation.  He preached on 1 Corinthians 13:13 "Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love." 

One thing that filled our hearts was the fact that this church was made-up of mostly children.  They entire congregation was outnumbered by children 6 children for every adult.  That is an amazing statistic and one that surprised us Westerners.

We are hoping to go back to Lolkuti and help them finish their church.  You can see the mud sides need to be completed, along with the roof.  Hey this might be a great project for a construction team from the US?!?

Lastly we visited the water source. Oh Lord, help!  This was very difficult to see and to know that right now, today, this is where the Lolkuti community is fetching their water. This water source is shared by animals and used for everything from cooking, drinking, bathing and cleaning. This is another potential site for a purification system.


We know the Lord will lead us and show us where he would like us to begin.  Please be in prayer for the Lolkuti people and their resources.
