One Step at a Time

The estate sale was a huge success.  Thank you to everyone that helped. Our goal was to raise the funds we need for our Vision Trip in November and Praise God, that's what happened. The next step is to plan the Vision Trip.  The Vision Trip is an opportunity for us to met the Kenyans who we hope to be serving in the future and for them to met us.  We have been corresponding via phone and e-mail and we have heard a lot about the people we are going to meet from our friends at The Mission Society.  In November, we will finally get a chance to meet in person and to see their ministries. The Vision Trip is also an opportunity to look into schools for Gilly.  
Our tentative trip agenda is as follows (with links where possible):

• November 18                                     Leave Atlanta
• November 19                                     Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya
• November 20 and 21                         Spend two days in Nairobi
• November 22 thru December 1 or 2         
• Visit the Good Shepherd Home in Nyahururu.  Take a look at the blog about the Good Shepherd Home from someone who has been there and theYoutube video. The internet can be so cool. • Visit the Samburu Area. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samburu) 
• Visit a school an International in Nakuru, (http://www.greenstedsschool.com)
• Visit a school in Nyahururu, (http://www.nyahururuelite.com) 
• And whatever else our gracious host would like to show us.

• December 1 or 2 we will take Gilly on a Safari.  That is going to be a lot of fun and we are very excited!
• December 3                                      Leave Niarobi
• December 4                                      Arrive in Atlanta

Please keep Heidi, Gilly and I in your prayers over the next few weeks as we plan our initial trip to Kenya.  And please pray for the people in need in Kenya - "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart." Proverbs 3:3.  Lord, please help us as we take one step at a time.
